Job DescriptionThe purpose of this job is to provide and analyze strategic data, sales reporting and overall support to the Manager, Sales Analytics and Strategy in managing the day-to-day operations of the Pilot Travel Centers LLC (PILOT) Sales team, to achieve or exceed company-level financial goals.
- Identify strategic data to assist with commission calculation and verification, account moves, lead-management systems, Salesforce reporting and general analytics that support department operations
- Provide recommendations and guidance to internal teams to support their efforts in meeting assigned strategic initiatives and goals
- Collaborate with sales team members and management to align sales territories that optimize work of internal sales teams
- Maintain subject matter expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other PFJ systems to support sales needs
- Participate in feedback and troubleshooting processes to identify opportunities for system enhancements to maximize efficiencies and productivity
- Use Tableau analytics to provide monthly reporting on the team's success in meeting goals and initiatives
- Assist in the training of new team members
- Own and maintain a recurring project or report
- Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required
- Minimum four years' experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) required
- Minimum four years' experience with sales, margin and budget data analysis preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required; advanced Excel
- Intermediate knowledge of data visualization (e.g., Tableau) software
- Advanced experience with company products and offerings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across organizational levels
- Excellent analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills
- Ability to resolve problems and make independent decisions with minimal supervision and a high sense of urgency
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and execute tasks with high attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies
- Ability to understand and work with a variety of complex interacting systems
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of data to generate meaningful results

- Ability to interpret new information within the full context of PFJ Sales
- Travel required up to 25%
- General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
- Able to work occasional evenings and odd hours as needed
